

Alexandra Slater is an award-winning journalist and writer who received the Edward R. Murrow Award for Writing when she worked as a reporter for NPR. Alex graduated from Columbia University with a degree in English Literature and attended Northwestern University’s Medill Graduate School of Journalism. Since then, she’s been an actress, a comedian on a house team at Upright Citizens Brigade, a reporter, a creative writing teacher, a clinical research assistant, a fundraiser, and a marketing advisor–all of which paid little but sound good. She splits her time between Boston and Cleveland with her hot husband, their children, and three dogs.
