Alexandra Slater is the author of three novels, Honor Girl, Friends with Boats and The Messy Years. She is also an award-winning journalist who received the Edward R. Murrow Award for Writing when she worked as a reporter for NPR. Alex graduated from Columbia University with a degree in English Literature and attended Northwestern University’s Medill Graduate School of Journalism. Her personality is a cross between Nikki Glaser and Sandra Bullock, and she apparently has a lot of doppelgangers, like your aunt and the girl you went to camp with. She spends winters in Boston and summers in Cleveland (#saidnooneever).

Hello. I just listened to you on WATD. I am also a writer since I was very young. I often write while walking and biking and just wrote a few paragraphs about Duxbury. Would you be willing to read it? Thanks.
